In a gruesome incident that shook Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, seven-year-old Muslim boy Saheb Alam was found murdered, with his body stuffed inside a sack and hung from a wire near a neighbor’s house gate. The child had been missing since Wednesday evening, prompting his family to alert the police.

The family accused neighbors Shailendra Kumar Nigam aka Mantu and Sandeep Nigam along with their family of the murder. Police found bloodstains near the site and after a swift operation arrested the accused in an encounter, injuring them in the process while seizing arms and incriminating materials.
SP Anil Kumar confirmed that the case was complex but police cracked it within hours. The family appealed for justice, expressing their grief and demanding strict punishment for the culprits.

sbkinews.in संवाददाता, आजमगढ़। उत्तर प्रदेश के आजमगढ़ जिले में एक सात वर्षीय मुस्लिम बालक शाजेब आलम की निर्मम हत्या का मामला सामने आया है जिसने पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैला दी है। बालक का शव बोरे में बंद कर घर के बगल के गेट पर तार से लटकाया गया मिला। शाजेब आमल पठान टोला के निवासी थे। बालक बुधवार शाम से लापता था, जिसके बाद परिजनों ने पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी।

परिजनों का आरोप है कि पड़ोसी शैलेन्द्र कुमार निगम उर्फ मन्टू और उसके परिवार ने शाजेब की हत्या की है। जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने शव के पास खून के निशान पाए हैं। घटना के बाद पूरे इलाके में तनाव और आक्रोश फैल गया और स्थानीय लोगों ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की।
पुलिस की तेज कार्रवाई में मुठभेड़ के दौरान दोनों आरोपितों को गिरफ्तार किया गया, जिनमें से शैलेन्द्र के दोनों पैर और संदीप के एक पैर में गोली लगी है। पुलिस ने आरोपितों के कब्जे से हथियार और आपत्तिजनक सामग्री भी बरामद की है।
एसपी आनील कुमार ने कहा कि मामला चुनौतीपूर्ण था लेकिन टीम की मेहनत से महज कुछ घंटों में हत्या की गुत्थी सुलझा ली गई। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि दोषियों को कोई दया नहीं दी जाएगी।
चितकबरे बेचैन परिवार ने कहा, “मेरा बेटा देश सेवा में जाना चाहता था, अब उसका सपना कौन पूरा करेगा?” उन्होंने सरकार से दोषियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की।
मामले की जांच जारी है और पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट मिलने के बाद पूरी सच्चाई सामने आएगी। इस घटना ने क्षेत्र के लोगों में भारी आक्रोश और चिंता पैदा कर दी है।
