मंडावली (बिजनौर), एसबीकेआई न्यूज। बिजनौर के मंडावली क्षेत्र के राजपुर नवादा गांव में गुरुवार को दिल दहला देने वाली पारिवारिक घटना सामने आई। शराब के नशे में धुत चाचा ने अपनी तीन वर्षीय भतीजी मानवी की गला रेतकर हत्या कर दी, जबकि चार साल के भतीजे मयंक को छत से नीचे फेंककर गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया। बच्चों को बचाने के लिए दौड़ी मां मंजू के साथ भी आरोपित ने बेरहमी से मारपीट की और इसके बाद मौके से फरार हो गया।
जानकारी के अनुसार, अरुण कुमार मजदूरी के लिए घर से बाहर गया हुआ था। घर पर उसकी पत्नी मंजू, बेटी मानवी (3 वर्ष) और बेटा मयंक (4 वर्ष) मौजूद थे। देर शाम अरुण का छोटा भाई हिमांशु घर पहुंचा। किसी बात को लेकर उसकी भाभी मंजू से कहासुनी हो गई। विवाद बढ़ने पर हिमांशु ने अचानक भतीजी मानवी पर धारदार हथियार से हमला कर दिया और गला रेतकर उसे लहूलुहान कर दिया।
इसके बाद आरोपित यहीं नहीं रुका, उसने भतीजे मयंक को छत पर ले जाकर नीचे फेंक दिया, जिससे वह गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। परिजन दोनों बच्चों को तत्काल अस्पताल लेकर दौड़े, जहां डॉक्टरों ने मानवी को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जबकि मयंक का इलाज ओम अस्पताल में चल रहा है। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही सीओ नजीबाबाद नितेश कुमार और थाना प्रभारी पुष्पेंद्र सिंह पुलिस टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और मौका मुआयना कर परिजनों से पूछताछ की।
पुलिस ने मानवी के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा है। पीड़ित पिता अरुण कुमार का कहना है कि उसका छोटा भाई हिमांशु शराब का आदी है और मानसिक रूप से भी कमजोर रहता है। वह अक्सर गांव में इधर-उधर भटकता रहता था और उसकी अभी शादी भी नहीं हुई है। अरुण की तहरीर के आधार पर पुलिस ने आरोपित हिमांशु के खिलाफ हत्या व हत्या के प्रयास सहित गंभीर धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है।Daink Jagran
सीओ नजीबाबाद नितेश कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि आरोपित हिमांशु की गिरफ्तारी के लिए दबिश दी जा रही है और उसे जल्द हिरासत में लिया जाएगा। गांव में हुई इस वारदात से ग्रामीणों में दहशत और आक्रोश दोनों है, जबकि परिवार पर शोक का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा है।

A shocking case of domestic brutality has emerged from Rajpur Nawada village in the Mandawali area of Bijnor, where a drunk uncle allegedly slit the throat of his 3-year-old niece, Manvi, and threw his 4-year-old nephew, Mayank, off the roof, leaving him critically injured. When the children’s mother Manju tried to rescue them, the accused assaulted her as well and then fled the spot.
According to local sources, Arun Kumar, a daily wage labourer, had gone out for work on Thursday. At home were his wife Manju, daughter Manvi (3) and son Mayank (4). Late in the evening, Arun’s younger brother Himanshu reached the house. A verbal argument reportedly broke out between Himanshu and his sister-in-law Manju over some domestic issue. As the quarrel escalated, Himanshu suddenly attacked little Manvi with a sharp-edged weapon and slit her throat, leaving her in a pool of blood.
Not stopping there, the accused allegedly took Mayank to the roof and threw him down, causing serious injuries. The terrified family members rushed both children to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared Manvi dead on arrival, while Mayank was admitted to Om Hospital and is currently undergoing treatment. On receiving information, Circle Officer (CO) Najibabad Nitesh Kumar and Station House Officer (SHO) Pushpendra Singh reached the spot with a police team, conducted on-site inspection and recorded statements from the family.
Police have sent Manvi’s body for post-mortem examination. Grieving father Arun Kumar told SBKI News that his younger brother Himanshu is addicted to alcohol and is mentally unstable. He often roamed aimlessly in the village, and is still unmarried. Based on Arun’s written complaint, the police have registered an FIR against Himanshu under charges of murder, attempt to murder and assault.
CO Najibabad Nitesh Kumar Singh stated that raids are being conducted to arrest the absconding accused Himanshu, and he will be taken into custody soon. The gruesome crime has triggered shock and anger in the village community, while the bereaved family is struggling to come to terms with the loss of their little girl and the critical condition of their son.
