New Delhi (SBKI News). A man has been taken into custody by the Anand Parbat police on charges of sexually abusing a woman under the guise of marriage and then posting a private video of her on Instagram without her consent. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Sohil alias Sonu, a resident of Badaun.Delhi crime

Deputy Commissioner of Police Nidhin Valsan stated that on June 26, the woman filed a complaint at the Anand Parbat police station. In her complaint, she alleged that Sohil developed a relationship with her and engaged in sexual relations under the false promise of marriage. The accused secretly recorded an intimate video during one of their encounters.

The situation escalated when Sohil uploaded this private video on his Instagram account, causing the victim immense mental trauma and social distress.Delhi crime

The police opened an investigation and filed a case after receiving the complaint. A special team was formed which used technical analysis, including CDR (Call Detail Record) scrutiny, and intelligence gathering to track down and arrest the accused.Delhi crime
