भोपाल (एसबीकी न्यूज़)। मध्य प्रदेश में सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी मुफ्त राशन योजना में बड़ा फर्जीवाड़ा सामने आया है। राज्य के खाद्य एवं रसद विभाग द्वारा कराए गए सत्यापन अभियान में 10.71 लाख राशन कार्ड धारक अपात्र पाए गए हैं। इनमें सबसे चौंकाने वाला खुलासा यह है कि 71 हजार से अधिक सुहागिन महिलाओं ने स्वयं को विधवा बताकर अवैध तरीके से योजना का लाभ उठाया था।
अपात्रों की श्रेणियां:
सत्यापन में पाया गया कि ये सभी लाभार्थी विभिन्न मानदंडों के आधार पर योजना के लिए अपात्र थे। इनमें शामिल हैं:
7.50 लाख किसान जिनके पास पांच एकड़ से अधिक कृषि भूमि है।
2.50 लाख आयकरदाता जो कर चुकाने वाली श्रेणी में आते हैं।
71,000 महिलाएं जो वास्तव में विधवा नहीं थीं।
कैसे हुआ खुलासा:
पिछले दिनों तत्कालीन मुख्य सचिव मनोज कुमार सिंह के निर्देश पर विभाग ने एक विशेष सत्यापन अभियान चलाया। इसके तहत ई-केवाईसी, आधार सीडिंग और भारत सरकार द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए गए इनकम टैक्स, पीएम-किसान सम्मान निधि जैसे डेटाबेस का सहारा लेकर फर्जी लाभार्थियों की पहचान की गई।
क्या हुई कार्रवाई:
खाद्य विभाग ने इन सभी 10.71 लाख अपात्र लाभार्थियों के राशन कार्ड तत्काल प्रभाव से निरस्त कर दिए हैं। अब इनकी जगह ‘जीरो पावर्टी अभियान’ के तहत चिह्नित वास्तविक गरीब और जरूरतमंद परिवारों को निशुल्क राशन का लाभ दिया जा रहा है।
मौजूदा स्थिति:
राज्य में फिलहाल 3.61 करोड़ राशन कार्ड धारक हैं। पात्र परिवारों को प्रति माह 35 किलोग्राम और पात्र गृहस्थी कार्ड धारकों को प्रति सदस्य 5 किलोग्राम अनाज दिया जाता है। इस कार्रवाई से सरकारी खजाने की बचत होने के साथ-साथ योजना का लाभ वास्तविक जरूरतमंदों तक पहुंचेगा।

Bhopal (SBKI News). A massive fraud has been uncovered in the government’s flagship free ration scheme in Madhya Pradesh. A verification drive conducted by the state’s Food and Civil Supplies Department has identified 10.71 lakh ration cardholders as ineligible for the benefits.
The most shocking revelation is that over 71,000 married women falsely registered themselves as widows to illegally avail the scheme’s benefits.
Categories of Ineligible Beneficiaries:
The verification process found these beneficiaries were ineligible based on various criteria. They include:
7.50 Lakh Farmers who own more than five acres of agricultural land.
2.50 Lakh Income Taxpayers who fall under the tax-paying category.
71,000 Women who were not actually widows.
How the Scam was Uncovered:
Following instructions from the former Chief Secretary, Manoj Kumar Singh, the department launched a special verification campaign. It cross-referenced data using e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding, and central government databases like Income Tax and PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi to identify the fake beneficiaries.
Action Taken:
The Food Department has immediately cancelled the ration cards of all these 10.71 lakh ineligible beneficiaries. The free ration benefits are now being redirected to genuinely poor and needy families identified under the ‘Zero Poverty Campaign’.
Current Status:
The state currently has 3.61 crore ration cardholders. Eligible families receive 35 kg of grain per month, and eligible household cardholders receive 5 kg per member. This crackdown is expected to save public money and ensure the scheme’s benefits reach those who truly need them.
