बिजनौर जिले के धामपुर में आरटीओ बस स्टैंड के पास स्थित महत्वपूर्ण नहटौर रेलवे फाटक को 12 दिनों के बाद सोमवार को खोल दिया गया। नौ मार्च से बंद इस फाटक पर कंप्लीट ट्रैक रिन्यूअल (सीटीआर) कार्य पूरा होने से राहगीरों को बड़ी राहत मिली। हालांकि कुछ रेललाइन मरम्मत शेष होने से फाटक पर समय-समय पर छोटी बंदी हो रही है।
मरम्मत का विवरण
नौ मार्च को पॉइंट क्रॉसिंग बदलने सहित 25-75 मीटर क्षेत्र में ट्रैक, स्लीपर व जॉइंट रिन्यूअल के लिए फाटक बंद किया गया था। शुरुआत में 12 मार्च तक का प्लान था, लेकिन कार्य बढ़ने से 12 दिन लग गए। सोमवार को मुख्य कार्य समाप्त होने पर यातायात बहाल हो गया। सीनियर सेक्शन इंजीनियर आलोक रंजन ने पुष्टि की कि फाटक व स्टेशन के पास कार्य लगभग पूरा, केवल फिनिशिंग बाकी है।
अधिकारी बयान
रेलवे सीनियर सेक्शन इंजीनियर आलोक रंजन ने कहा, “फाटक व स्टेशन पर 25 मीटर पॉइंट क्रॉसिंग कार्य समाप्त। मुख्य सीटीआर पूरा—फाटक खोल दिया। मशीनों से मामूली काम जारी, 10-15 मिनट की अस्थायी बंदी संभव।” उन्होंने पूर्ण सामान्यीकरण का आश्वासन दिया। स्थानीय राहुल गुप्ता जैसे लोग राहत महसूस कर रहे लेकिन खोदाई से बने गड्ढों की शिकायत कर रहे।

यह फाटक एसडीएम, तहसील, सीओ कार्यालय, सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र तक मुख्य पहुंच है। बंदी से लोग 2 किमी घूमकर नगीना चौराहा-ओवरब्रिज होते थे। रिक्शा चालक मनमाने किराए वसूल रहे थे। सैकड़ों दैनिक यात्री प्रभावित हुए। यूपी में रेलवे उन्नयन से ऐसी देरी आम, लेकिन खुलना प्रगति दर्शाता है। सड़क खोदाई से वाहनों को अब भी असुविधा।

अंतिम एलाइनमेंट पर नजर, मशीन स्लॉट में कोई बड़ी बंदी नहीं। कुछ दिनों में पूर्ण चालू। चेतावनी बोर्ड लगे। लंबे समय में नहटौर-जैतरा पर अंडरपास सर्वे पूर्ण—स्थायी राहत। धामपुर प्रशासन रेलवे से समन्वय कर ट्रैफिक प्रबंधन सुनिश्चित करेगा।
