In the Rawatpur area under the Kakadev police station, Himanshu Gautam (19), the only son of Durga Prasad, a tailor residing in M-Block, was pursuing B.Tech from a private college in Bilhaur. On the night of August 15, after dinner, Himanshu went to his room to sleep. However, when his mother, Suman, attempted to wake him the next morning, she was met with a devastating sight—Himanshu was found hanging from a noose. According to his elder brother Aakash, Anshu—who was the third child among four siblings—had been struggling with depression after the death of both parents over the past three months.
